The year has started positively for me, which is a stark contrast to the rotten year that 2021 turned out to be. I say that, but I achieved quite a few things in the past year, and I embarked on my first trip outside of Europe (to beautiful Canada). But there were two losses in the family, and so unfortunately the whole year just had a rather morose feel about it.
I have always been the kind of person that benefits from the idea that the turning of a new year is an opportunity for a fresh start, a new little beginning. It may be merely symbolic, but I’ve found that holding onto such a mentality does wonders for my mental health and my productivity levels.
2022 has already started well. On New Year’s Eve, I finished editing the manuscript of my next novel, a dystopian thriller called Like Pigs. I am also in the process of starting over with my clothing brand, Putrid Hand Apparel, so keep your eyes peeled for announcements and teasers in the near future!
I hope that everybody has a positive 2022 and beyond.
happy new year Davey 🙂 cheers from Lisbon, PedroL
