outside my door

inside my mind
clawing, dining
upon my feeble brain
rats
in my hair
rats
under sheets
nibbling, dribbling
upon my eyes
rats
in the street
rats
on the train
stifling, killing
the remnants of this brain
rats
in the toilet
rats
in the fridge
imbuing, baking
every inch of my flesh
