It’s been a while since my last blog post, mainly because my latest writing project is consuming most of my time.
The sequel to my first novel, The Black Rook, is in full swing now. The first novel hasn’t been released yet, but I wanted to make a good start on the sequel so that the gap between the two releases doesn’t end up being too long.
I’ve almost finished the first act of the novel. I’m almost at 50,000 words, of what I plan to be approximately a 200,000 word novel (although, that’s only a rough figure and I’ll just see where I get to once I’ve completed my first draft).
Aside from writing, I’ve been doing quite a lot of painting, working out my expressionistic style.
