I haven’t been writing very much the last few days, but there is a reason for it.
I’ve been busy helping my partner get ready for her big move to Canada (she is leaving a couple of months earlier than I am). But after she’s left in a few days I will be back to writing every day.
The main project I will be working on, before my move to Canada in June, is to finish the final draft of my dystopian novel, Like Pigs. I’m aiming to get that done before I leave, so that once I land on Canadian soil I can start afresh with new creative projects.
I will also be working on my Medium content, which is largely poetry. If you’re interested and you don’t already follow me on there, you can find the link at the top of the web page.
I will also be focussing on my illustration work, as I want to create a concise portfolio of all of my current work. That will feature on this website and then also in other locations.
I have to be honest. The next couple of months will be a challenge for me. I will really miss my partner during the time that she’s in Canada and I’m behind in England. Leaving England will also be bittersweet, as it’s all I’ve ever known, and my family is here. And so, the coming weeks will be tough for me, and as such, the creative work that I’ll be focussing on will be a welcome distraction from the mental turbulence to come.
Hi do you mind reading my short stories
