Another New Beginning

I’ve only been living in London for 4 months now, and already we have moved from the initial flat we were living in. We have moved to a co-living space only a stone’s throw from central London, which I’m hoping will be a good opportunity to network and also an inspiring space to write, create art, and have fun.

I’ve hit another stumbling block with my writing and art, which is, I think, due to the instability of yet another home move. I’m also starting a new job in a couple of weeks, which is exciting but also means yet more change. Once I’m a bit more settled with my living and work situations, I’m sure I’ll be able to recharge that creative spark, but for now I’m trying to acclimatise to this new status quo.

I did manage to find time to do a bit of drawing yesterday, which is a massive step, considering I haven’t done anything creative for weeks. This week, aside from organising my new apartment (and life) I hope to dabble in a spot of creative writing. I haven’t written any poetry for a while, so that may be where I start.

  1. Nice to see you again Davey. I know it’s been awhile. Been working on a book myself and thought back to yours. I remember it fondly. Whatever you end up doing I’ll be here behind you.
